Partwell Group uses the latest 3D design software to produce 3D CAD prototype models whilst exploring customer design ideas, for the production of CNC plastic parts 3D images.

Design engineers work closely with clients on all projects, often drawing and redrawing prototype images to fully exploit all design possibilities and help communicate and refine design information and concepts effectively.

One Offs & Low Volume Production

We can also CNC machine one off prototypes and low volume production quantities of CAD drawings into plastic parts. This will structurally validate a component and product quality before a client commits to higher scale manufacture if required.

Partwell Group’s Blackburn engineering machine shop has a range of CNC machines to ensure that we can cater for one off prototype orders for 3D plastic parts and also high scale machining.

The image above is of a polyethylene plastic part used for a bespoke camera rail support system. This client went through a lengthy design and prototype product testing process, there were several CAD deigns and multiple plastic parts produced to ensure the part suited the application 100% before the customer commissioned a high volume order of injection moulded parts from the Far East.
