A bit about us

A family business, operating for over 40 years our expertise and experience in engineering and maintenance has developed trust with our customers. We continue to grow on this as we want our customers to return and stay with us.
Having less than 30 staff means that we can be consistent in our quality and service. Our team has a variety of skills and we work close together to deliver and solve customer needs.
We specialise in the supply of die making consumables plastic engineering and high end machinery for automating production in both. With our in-house manufacture we make small to medium size plastic components and production runs. We don’t just sell machinery either, we offer our customers support along the way with our fully trained field maintenance team.
Winning the apprentice employer of the year in 2014 marked a significant point in time where the company’s strengths of team work, staff development and collaboration at the front line became acknowledged not just in the business, but outside it too. The partnership with the local Training 2000 team, who have provided training for many years, has been essential for us to achieve the level of skills we have today.
With continued development, the production team have now seriously picked up momentum on our journey to Lean. We gained BSI accreditation in 2015 and recently upgraded to ISO9001:2015. Our values to live them each day, but the overwhelming aim over recent years has been to create a working environment that inspires us to do great things that benefit our customers, providing value in what we do and how we do it. Colleagues are encouraged to identify and take advantage of opportunities available to them. Whilst good communication is a cornerstone of any successful business we work hard to keep it that way, running daily huddles and regular 1:1s to ensure clarity of our purpose and stay on top of the companies objectives. Doing that helps us collaborate with one another and work towards common goals. Like everyone, the MD is held accountable by the team at large for what he has and hasn’t done. Feedback is seen as essential, keeping communication open so we can continue to develop and grow.
By getting together for problem solving and identifying cause, we take continuous improvement seriously. We thrive on customer feedback, ideas and solving problems.
Decisions are made at all levels of the business in order that we can respond quickly to customer needs. We reward each other for going the extra mile. We are here to serve.
With so much in common, our business partnership with Row & sons has been complimentary in so many ways. Whilst both companies have a history of plastic engineering, Row and Sons bring much more to the Partwell Group. Row and Sons developed the colour coding systems that work so effectively today in preventing cross contamination in the preparation of food in kitchens and professional food related environments.
But more than that, Row and Sons have been a traditional butcher and chef block manufacturer for over 140 years. The knowledge and craftsmanship has been passed down from generation to generation and today the company still supply the top butcher block brand to the food and meat industries.
Well networked throughout the world, Row and Sons offer a wide and comprehensive range of related catering and butcher equipment, taking care of customers through ensuring hygienic solutions alongside extremely creative serving ideas that help you serve food in your style and bring them to reality.
Underpinning our commitment to quality is our Quality Management system, we are proud to of been awarded with the prestigious BS EN ISO9001:2015 certification which recognises our commitment to total quality throughout the business.
