The Demand
As our business continued to grow, we noticed an increase in inquiries related to turned items. Although we had the capability to produce certain items on our own, the manufacturing process was consuming too much time. As a result, we often had to resort to outsourcing the work, causing longer lead times and less competitive quotes for our customers.
The Solution
We made a strategic decision to invest in new machinery to meet the growing demands of our customers. During the MACH2022 Exhibition, our Production Manager discovered a few machines that met our requirements. We decided that a DN Solutions Lynx 2100LB CNC Lathe would be the perfect addition to our shop floor. This acquisition will undoubtedly enhance our machine collection and enable us to provide even better services to our valued customers.
The Outcome
We have successfully installed the lathe and have trained two employees at MillsCNC Academy to optimize our investment. Our order book is thriving, allowing us to complete all work in-house with short lead times and competitive pricing.
