What are Glove Ports?

Glove ports are the plastic diffusers used as an entry point to glove boxes for containment isolators.

What are Glove Ports Machined from?

Most commonly plastic glove ports are CNC engineered from Polyethylene PE500 grade material.

Glove boxes are used within a range of containment technology for pharmaceutical drug, chemical and food testing.

Polyethylene PE500 is used when the glove port needs to be engineered from a FDA approved material, approved for direct safe contact with food and drugs.
