Böhler Top 36 is the standard brand of Rotary cutting rule, with a body hardness of 34HRC making it suitable for both axial and radial applications. For difficult abrasive applications we recommend our Universal range of edge-hardened cutting rules.
On request we can supply Bohler Top and Universal 60, which can only be used axial (SNN) due to its high body hardness of around 450 HV.
Bohler rotary cutting rules are edge hardened after the grinding of its teeth. This ensures a continuous hardness from the tooth peak to depth.
