Plastic Part Machining – Guards
Partwell CNC engineer plastic guards according to customer specification. We produce machine guards, finger guards, guide rails and safety guards from a wide range of plastic grades. Hard wearing and abrasive resisting plastics include high molecular weight polyethylene HMW PE500 grade, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene UHMW PE1000 grade, cast and extruded nylon and acetal.
These yellow finger guards have been manufactured from polyethylene PE500 for:
- Low coefficient of friction, which is essential for wearing machine parts such as guides and guards.
- Durable, will endure repeated shock loads.
- Fully approved for contact with food, perfect for food processing machinery guards.
PE500 grade is available in bright red, blue, yellow, green, white and brown, therefore colour coding schemes can be catered for.
