IDEA can process steel rule from 18mm to 32mm high in a thickness of 1.5pt, 2pt, 3pt and 4pt.
Software
All SERVIFORM equipment, including the SERVIFORM IDEA rule processor are driven by modern software based on Windows XP, the main features of this software are:

All operations are electronically or pneumatically driven. In the punching section multi-operational cartridges can perform all the required die making functions i.e. cutting, lipping, bridging etc
Bending
SERVIFORM have developed a new and unique bending tool structure (patent pending), this allows super-quick changing from one pointage to another and eliminates any bending limitations.
Broaching
The latest IDEA machines are equipped with a completely re-designed dual operation in-line broaching unit for faster, cleaner and burr-free broaching. The IDEA broaching tool itself and its depth is be easily adjusted through the software.
Nick Grinding
The SERVIFORM IDEA rule processing machine is now equipped with a revolutionary nick grinding unit. It offers perfect geometric, uniformed, burr-free nicks with a constant depth all in a straight line process. Four electric spindles equipped with the new Ultra nick nicking tools are driven by the machine control software. The position of the nicks is automatically imported from the CAD drawing and a powerful vacuum suction system guarantees absolutely clean operations.
