Partwell are pleased to introduce to you the new SERVIFORM Ecologica fully automatic steel rule bending and processing machine.
The Ecologica is a modular machine that offers cutting, lipping, bridging and bending functions as standard. Extra modules such as broaching, perforating and cutting/creasing can be added at a later stage.
Inter-Changeable Bending Head System… with the appropriate tooling the machine can bend 1.5pt, 2pt and 3pt rule. A quick change of the bending head will set the machine up to process an alternative rule thickness i.e. 2pt to 3pt. This takes only a couple of minutes, the bending head weights only 10kg so no more bulky head trolleys.
The Ecologica machine can bend 90° radius to a minimum 2.0-2.5mm rad.
Fully Electrical Punch System… no more hydraulic pumps. Punching speeds of up to 180 times per minute. Historically nicking units have been perceived to be quite slow and therefore under-utilised, it is for this reason that Serviform have developed a quick punching system, it takes a third of a second to punch a nick, quicker than the Unica 355 machine.
Unrivalled Speed… the Ecologica has a higher processing speed than other machine models including the new Serviform IDEA machine and Unica 350EVO. The Ecologica uses an identical transport system to the Unica 350 EVO, but as the Ecologica is only a third of the size of other machines the rule travels and processes much faster.
Improved Rule Guidance… the rule is cut and then fed through the machine, the physical guidance and support of the rule and cartridges has much improved compared to older processors.
Smallest Footprint Size… it has a uniquely small footprint of just 400x900mm.
Economical to Run…very low electrical consumption (under 2kw), 3 phase plug operation.
Premium Quality Tooling… Wire eroded and hardened during production not after production for greater stability, precision accuracy and improved tool life. With use on 1 shift, it is recommended that tools are sharpened every 6 months, tools can be sharpened up to 6 times, therefore could last up to 3 years.
Faster PC’s and Easier to Use Software…The new Ecologica and Idea machine are driven by modern software based on Windows XP. The revolutionary Ecologica software offers extremely easy to follow and pictorial instructions.
