New Bohler cutting rule for plastic applications
Trouble free die cutting of PET and other plastic products requires the use of cutting rules with special properties. The main criteria are wear resistance, cutting edge sharpness and optimal cutting quality, along with the standard criteria for all cutting rules – good bendability, low cutting force and long tool life.
Bohler Plast-X is a new and innovative cutting solution from Bohler particularly suitable for blister packs, thermoplastic materials such as PET, PE, PP and PVC as well as laminated and coated boards.
The cutting edge of Bohler Plast-X is extra hard and stable, which improves cutting performance (clean cutting, reduced cutting force) and tool life.
BENEFITS:
- Increased tool life
- Great wear resistance
- Clean cutting forces
- Improved rule stability
