TES-g is an even more advanced finish than the TES and is used for some of the new man-made materials which are causing cutting problems.  This knife is edge hardened and serrated like the TES but is ground again after hardening to give an extremely fine sharp edge in a scallop shape that reduces the cutting pressure requirement.
