Partwell Group attended the annual Training 2000 Apprenticeship Awards evening and was honoured to be presented with the Employer of the Year award by the Mayor of Blackburn.
Partwell's Matthew Woodhouse, Sales Administrator won Intermediate Apprenticeship Achievement Award. Matthew’s dedication and hard work meant he completed four NVQ’s in under three years - NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Business Admin, NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Customer Services. Matthew is now an integral part of Partwell’s sales and marketing office.
Partwell are pleased to welcome a new apprentice into the sales and marketing office, Jordan Hatzar. Jordan will be the fifth apprentice to join Partwell.
Jordan has come from Training 2000’s Pre-Apprenticeship program. Partwell are looking forward to being involved in this program in 2014. The Pre-Apprenticeship Scheme is designed for young adults age 16-18 that know what job they want to do, but need help to get the skills required to start an Apprenticeship or are not sure if they would like to be an apprentice and need help making this commitment.
Partwell exhibited at T2000’s Apprentice Open evening last month, helping school leavers understand what a business administration apprenticeship entails.
Generally referred to as work-based learning, Apprenticeships are undertaken in the workplace, with apprentices receiving training on-the-job. At Partwell apprentices are treated like any other employee and work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills.
