Blackburn-based cutting solution specialists, Partwell Group, has been recognised for offering training opportunities and support to staff by the largest Group Training Association in England, Training 2000.
The training provider’s prestigious Business Awards, held at King Georges Hall in Blackburn, on Thursday (27th February 2014), recognised learners aged between 17 and 25 for their achievements on Apprenticeship and Traineeship qualifications.
Jane McConnell, Office Manager at the Partwell Group said: “We are delighted to have received this award in recognition of our commitment to providing training opportunities for young people at all levels. We feel we have continually supported the needs of learners across East Lancashire, helping them to gain valuable work experience as well as a nationally-recognised qualification.”
19 year old Matthew Woodhouse from Accrington who is employed by the Partwell Group was also awarded with the Advanced Apprentice of the Year on the night.
Rowena Brough, Business Manager at Training 2000, said: “The calibre of learners has been exceptionally high this year and Matthew has proven that he is both talented and hard working.
“In the current economic climate, skills development is critical to career success and we are confident that Matthew will continue to develop and progress in his future career.
“We would also like to acknowledge the valuable role played by our member companies in offering training opportunities to employees at all levels and supporting them in the workplace whilst they complete their qualifications.”
