Cutting Technology

In 1979 Partwell set up business providing Cutting Technology solutions to the shoe and leather industry.  We supply products and services to help the shoe and leather industry cut materials.  Products supplied to this industry include Press Cutting Machines, Press Cutting Boards and Rule Die Steel.

Being the sole UK agent for the supply of Bohler Rule die Steel and our knowledge of cutting technology, led to the supply of Bohler Cutting and Creasing Steels.  Our fastest growing market is the packaging and carton industry where the supply of steel and die making accessories are used to make wood formes for cutting card and paper, such as cigarette packets, whiskey cartons and cereal boxes.

Plastics

Agencies with the worlds leading sheet plastic suppliers such as Frisylin and Hydroma for Press Cutting boards made Partwell a huge stock holder of most grades of plastic. 

Strong supplier relationships and excellent buying power, led supply of food grade plastics, our core product being hygienic food chopping boards.  We compliment our food board range with food catering sundries, including board racks, basketware, floor matting and wall cladding.

Over recent years we have also established a CNC Cutting factory to enable us to cater for bespoke customer requirements, with the ability to produce intricate but very accurate shapes from sheet plastic at high speed.
